Steel Cementitious Flange Panel


Unitile's Steel Cementitious Flange Panels (600mm X 600mm) are non-combustible in nature and are coated with electrostatic epoxy paint. These panels consist of flat steel top sheet resistance welded to a formed steel bottom sheet, which is in filled with a lightweight proprietary cementitious mixture. Uniquely designed hemispherical reinforcing pockets on the underside enhance structural strength and deliver ultimate durability and acoustic performance.

The cantilever edges of the panel are reduced and this unique product design enhances the technical performance of the system, reduces the risk of damage at site and aims to provide tremendous advantages to the user with respect to handling of panels and ease of installation during the construction program.


Corner Lock
Each floor panel is mechanically secured to the pedestal head at all four corners ensuring maximum rigidity and lateral stability. Access to the sub-floor is very simply achieved by releasing the fasteners and lifting the panel.

Edge Support Rigid Grid System (ESRG)
Edge support under-structure provides maximum floor stability. It reduces all lateral movements and also ensures integrity of the floor on removal of panels for access to services in the sub-floor. Stringers are mechanically fastened to the pedestal head and panels are then placed on the grid formed. This system is ideal for high finished floor heights.

Access Floor Load Testing

These loads are applied on a small area on the panel surface. These loads are applied over the entire surface of the panel. These loads are reached when the panel has failed structurally and can not accept any additional load. These loads are applied by wheeled vehicles arrying loads across the floor. These loads occurs when objects are accidentally dropped on the floor.

Bare
A raised floor system with bare finish does not have a surface covering. The surface of the panel will normally be steel top sheet which is epoxy powder coated. This bare finished raised floor is covered on site by the application of loose lay carpet tiles.

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
PVC-coatings are used in raised floor applications due to its high durability, scuff-resistance, resistance to decay, low thermal conductivity & hygienic property features.

When choosing PVC- coatings the following parameters should be taken into account:
• Resistance to the impact of wheeled chairs
• Resistance to indentation
• Flexibility
• Light-resistance

Applications: Educational establishments, shops, hospitals, offices, airports , workshops.

Electrical resistance: 25,000 ohms to 100000 ohms (2.50 x 10^4 to 1.00 x 10^6 ohms)
PVC / Vinyl Conductive

High Pressure Laminate (HPL)
High pressure laminate is used in 90% of all computer room applications, and is the largest product used on factory laminated floor finishes. Laminate is a one piece tile (24" x 24") . HPL has the advantage of not requiring wax or maintenance that could produce static problems in the data center.

Application: Computer rooms, data centers, switch rooms, equipment rooms, file storage areas, corridors, high load/high traffic areas, light manufacturing, cafeterias.

Attributes: low static generation and retention, high-durability, long-wearing, requires no sealing, waxing or mechanical buffing. The HPL is available in ESD & antistatic range.

Electrical resistance: 1,000,000 ohms to 20,000 megaohms (1.00 x 10^6 to 2.00 x 10^10 ohms)

Composition: specially formulated surface sheet over a melamine impregnated print pattern sheet.

Several core layers of phenolic resin-impregnated Kraft paper.

Special Finishes
Due to its high durability, scuff-resistance, resistance to decay, low thermal conductivity, hygienic properties, and wide variety of possible designs, PVC-coatings may be used in living accommodations, educational establishments, shops, hospitals, offices, airports and even workshops.
